What a great place???

This is a rock formation at the island of Biri, Northern Samar. I'm from Samar but I've never been there before, oHHH... Did you remember the movie of Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulieta Of Philippine Movie? Hihintayin Kita Sa Langit, top-billed by Dawn Zulueta and Richard Gomez? is that the title of the movie..

PUERTO GALERA

I love this place... it was April 2005 when I first visited this place. I'm with my clan mates in MIDNIGHT INSOMNIAC SOCIETY or M.I.S.. It was our 3rd year anniversary as a clan. We Spent 3 days and 2 nights. I enjoyed a lot in SNORKELING, I am afraid because i'm not a good swimmer, later on I realized that you can do the snorkeling as long as you know how to "breath" HAHAHA.... you just need to learn how to use the equipment. I tried it, and WOW I enjoyed it!

Summer of 2007, I came back to this place twice. March 31 was with my office mates. I became the tour guide of the group... hehe... I introduced the place. We enjoyed a lot, banana boat in the afternoon, party in the evening and the following day, we visited the cave at the end of the cove. 

April 28 to April 30, 2007, I came back the second time around with my clan mates (M.I.S.) again. We spent for almost 3 days and 2 nights. We rented a motor boat which only cost 1,500 pesos for island hoping with snorkeling.... hmmm... i want it again... Bar hoping at nights, we got beers and the famous "MINDORO SLING" hehehe...... we created our own version of it on our cottage, haha.

I love going back again and again in Puerto Galera...

Spice of Life, Allen, Northern Samar, Philippines....

This is my favorite place since childhood...

The beach resort is located in ALLEN where i was born.

Fine sands, Inns, cottages and foods here is very cheap. It's a 16hrs travel from Manila via land and Ferry Boat and 45 minutes via plane through Catarman, Northern Samar.

They offer affordable videoke and beers. I really enjoyed bonding with my cousins, swimming and having fun. Since we were young, we usually celebrate all occassions here like birthdays etc. 

After I graduated in college, I went back to Allen to celebrate my 29th birthday. We went to the Spice of Life beach resort for a night swimming. We brought foods like chicken (head, feet) and pork barbecue and ofcourse liquors. Candle lights are lit, then we sat on the beach while drinking beer and enjoying the stars while having never ending stories with my cousins. 

The waives of the sea is very calming and it seems like it's inviting us for a night swimming. I will never forget how special that day is. But soon i promise to come back and bring my lovely wife and child.
